The Dana Point Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for 2025 Business of the Year, Citizen of the Year, and Nonprofit of the Year awards!
These honors recognize outstanding businesses, individuals, and organizations that make a meaningful impact in our community through leadership, service, and commitment to Dana Point. Help us celebrate those who go above and beyond.
Nominations may be submitted by Chamber members, community members, customers, and business supporters.Â
Submit your nominations by Jan. 23, 2026 and help us recognize the people that make Dana Point a great place to live, work, and do business. The recipients will be celebrated at the Chamber's Annual Dinner & Awards Night on February 19, 2026 at the Dana Point Yacht Club.
2025 Business of the Year
Honoring a Business that made outstanding contributions in 2025!
Nominations will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Chamber Involvement:Â Engagement with the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce through leadership, committee service, sponsorships, in-kind support, and volunteer involvement.
- Community Engagement:Â Meaningful involvement in the Dana Point community through volunteerism, support of local organizations, education initiatives, and charitable or in-kind contributions.
- Business Excellence:Â Demonstrated commitment to strong ethics, support of the local business community, and excellent customer service.
To be eligible, the business must be a Chamber Member in good-standing.

2025 Citizen of the Year
Honoring a Citizen that made outstanding contributions in 2025!
The Citizen of the Year award recognizes an individual whose personal actions, leadership, and commitment have made a meaningful and lasting impact on the Dana Point community. Nominees should be honored for contributions made as a private individual — through volunteerism, civic engagement, mentorship, advocacy, or acts of service. This award celebrates those who selflessly give their time, energy, and heart to the betterment of our community, regardless of profession or industry.

2025 Nonprofit of the Year
Honoring a Nonprofit Organization that made outstanding contributions in 2025!
Nonprofits who are nominated should encompass some or all of the following attributes:
- Provides outstanding programs and services that make a profound difference in the Dana Point area.
- Supports and demonstrates a collaborative spirit through creative community partnerships.
- Displays a strong fiscal management with diversified revenue sources.
- Maintains a team of professional staff/volunteers and leadership.
- Has shown stability or growth in services or expanded programs and services.
- Proven contribution to enhancing the community's overall quality of life.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical business practices and employee support and development.
To be eligible, organizations must be a Chamber Member in good-standing and be a registered 501c organization or service group as defined by the IRS.
