Message from the President

Someone once said, "Chambers do the things most people think just happen." Those of us involved in the chamber know that to be true. From providing programs that help our business members grow, to taking the lead on key community initiatives, this chamber of commerce is engaged and more relevant than ever before.

The Dana Point Chamber of Commerce is a chamber that makes things happen. From supporting the revitalization of Town Center and Dana Point Harbor, to backing the Tri-City Trolley proposal, the Chamber is becoming a key player in the City and the region. At the Chamber, local businesses work together to strengthen our local economy, promote the community, and advocate the interests of business. Many companies are a member of the Chamber because we do the following:

We work daily to create a stronger local economy.
We promote the community in many ways by continuing to enhance the quality of the life we have come to expect in the Dana Point and South Orange County areas.
We provide networking opportunities that, in the past year, brought hundreds people to several events to meet and exchange information about their businesses.
We represent the interests of business to government by speaking out on local, regional, state, and national issues impacting our community.
And, we take political action, such as taking stands on issues that affect business such as flexible work weeks and workers' compensation reform.
